Today, they serve as landing stages for the HADAG ferries, for the barges and ships of the popular harbour tours. In the eastern part of the upstream building arrangement, there is a gauge tower which shows not only the water level of the Elbe river, but also the current time. The integrated bell is activated every half hour. Snack and souvenir shops are available in large numbers.
