Cruise ships in Rotterdam usually dock at the modern Wilhelminapier, which is close to the city center. Thus, the ship is moored in the immediate vicinity of the Erasmus Bridge. Not far from the berth there are bus, streetcar and metro stations. After crossing the striking Erasmus Bridge, you reach the city center. At the nearby Hotel New York, the former headquarters of Holland Amerika Line (HAL), there is a mooring for the black and yellow water cabs. A day ticket only for these ferries costs 13 euros per adult on site. For children from 4 to 11 years 9,50 Euro will be charged. With the somewhat more expensive Tourist Day Ticket, you can use the waterbus ferries in addition to the bus, streetcar and metro. This costs 13.50 euros per person. When getting on and off, the tickets must be held at the readers in the vehicles. The Tourist Day Ticket is only valid with the operators RET, HTM, HTMbuzz, Arriva, Connexxion, Veolia and Waterbus.
- City and Port Tours
There are several ways to explore the city. For example, from 10:00-17:00, there is a line of red sightseeing Hop On Hop Off buses. A complete round lasts 60 minutes, costs 17 euros and has, besides the Cruise Terminal 6 other stops. Splashtours offers a somewhat different kind of city tour. During the tour, which also lasts 60 minutes, the amphibious vehicle travels on land and waterways. For children up to the age of 12 years the trip costs 16,50 Euro and for adults 24,50 Euro. Start and finish is at the Euromast at Parkhaven 9, alternatively you can take the historic tramway line 10, which runs every half hour from 11:00-16:30. It also takes one hour for a complete round trip and works according to the Hop On Hop Off principle. The tickets are available in the tramway. One of the 9 stops is located directly at the foot of the Erasmus Bridge on the opposite side of the berth. In addition, the local shipping company Spido offers various harbour tours. The ships are modernly equipped and also suitable for wheelchair users. The 75-minute standard tour costs 12.50 euros for adults and 7.50 euros for 4-11 year-olds. The jetty is also located on the opposite side and at the foot of the cable-stayed bridge.

- Bicycle, Train Station and Shopping
The cycle paths in Rotterdam are quite well-developed. If you want to rent a bike in good weather, you can find one at the train station. E-bikes are also offered in some cases. The modern central station Rotterdam Centraal is the traffic junction of the public transport and about 3 kilometers from the berth. From March to October, there is also a cab rank for bicycle rickshaws. Walking time for one direction is 35-40 minutes. The pedestrian zone of the Lijnbaan is almost directly accessible and invites you to stroll, shopping and linger. The stores in the city center are mostly open daily, even on Sundays.

The Euromast Tower, visible from afar, offers excellent views of Rotterdam and the surrounding area from its viewing platform. At Leuvehaven 1, the Maritime Museum shows its exhibition. It reflects the history of the port of Rotterdam and the maritime industry. - Steamship SS Rotterdam
With the former Steamship SS Rotterdam of the Holland Amerika Line, many emigrants reached New York in the 1960s. Later, the ship was used for cruises. The Museum Park in Rotterdam is home to the Dutch Architecture Institute, the Natural History Museum, the Boijmans-Van Beuningen Museum and the Kunsthal with changing exhibitions. Visible from the mooring and located directly on the Maas is the Wereldmuseum (World Museum) with its permanent exhibition of 200,000 exhibits. - Miniworld Rotterdam

- Cube Houses

- Laurens Church
A little further north is the Laurenskerk, built in the Middle Ages. Heavily damaged, it survived the bombs in World War II and was later rebuilt. The church is the oldest building in Rotterdam. If you would like to visit the religious house from the inside, there is no way around a financial contribution. This is 3 Euro per adult, including the audio guide. - Artists' Street
The Witte de Withstraat is considered to be an artists' and scene street. Attracted by its flair, boutiques, cafés, restaurants and pubs have settled there. Small galleries can also be found there. Partly with changing exhibitions. It is centrally located in the city center.
- Kinderdijk Windmills
The famous 19 Windmills of Kinderdijk can be easily reached from the foot of the Erasmus Bridge by taking the 202 waterbus, which stops on the opposite bank of the Maas.
