- Berths of the Cruise Ships

Normally, in Toulon, one moors at the Pier Fournel. If this berth is already reserved and occupied by another cruise ship, it can also happen that it is anchored. In this case, the guests are brought ashore with the tender boats. This often results in delays during excursions or shore excursions that are undertaken on one's own initiative. In order to be able to keep to the schedules of the tours booked and carried out by the respective shipping companies, these excursionists are preferred to be brought ashore first. At the jetty of the tender boats there is a small terminal hall where you can get information and flyers. Souvenirs are also offered and there is free WiFi. The typical small tourist train starts in the immediate vicinity.

- Tiny-Train Tours

The typical small tourist trains make their rounds in the city from April to October and take about 45 minutes. Departure is near the port. The cost is 7 euros per person. For children from 3 to 11 years 4 Euro are called.

- Buses and Boats

Toulon has a very well arranged bus line network. In addition, the operator Reseau Mistral uses passenger ferries (bus boats) to La Seyne-sur-Mer, Les Sablettes with its very beautiful long beach and to the peninsula Saint Mandrier. Departure is not far from the berth at the Maritime station. The journey time for one direction is 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the destination. A big bus station is located at the Boulevard Tesse, which is very close to the main station of Toulon.

To get there, you can use the Mayol bus stop at the stadium of the same name, which is quite close to the ship's mooring. The beach sections of Le Mourillon are family and handicapped friendly, with access ramps for wheelchairs and WC's. Adjacent green areas, playgrounds and restaurants are also available.

- Promenade and Shopping

The Quai Kronstadt, located right at the harbour and in the immediate proximity of the mooring, is the most popular promenade of Toulon. Small restaurants, bars and shops line up next to each other. The bus boats of the Reseau Mistral also depart from here. You will also find providers of harbour tours here. By following the Quai Kronstadt, at its end one comes across to the Naval Museum. Not far from there, there is the city centre of Toulon with a huge number of shops in the partly narrow and angled alleyways.

- Naval Museum

At the Place Monsenergue/Quai de Norfolk, there is the national Naval Museum (Musée National de la Marine). It vividly illustrates the French maritime history and the development of the French Navy.
